Why do you even wear watches? In todays world might as well get one of these:

    I would be more impressed.

    • You'd be surprised how helpful a nice watch is.monospaced
    • I have a 20 year old tag heuer that I wore for 15 years every day. Stopped wearing it 5 years ago and haven't missed it.hotroddy
    • It servers more of a social indicator than a functional purpose.hotroddy
    • I find them useful for knowing the time.MrT
    • It serves it's purpose well. Anyone can pull a generic phone from their pocket, but a nice watch says a lot about a person.formed
    • Similar to a nice car, you can drive a Civic and get efficiently from A to B, but I prefer something a little nicer.formed
    • I get it, it's a form of self expression. But at that point you're conceding you're wearing jewelry.hotroddy
    • Yup. I like jewelry (though I don't wear any but a ring occasionally). A watch is a nice way to have something and still look respectable.formed
    • There we have it, watches are a threat to hotroddy's masculinity. Also, never trust anyone who doesn't wear a watch.face_melter
    • lol, insightful facemelter. that explains my prince albert.hotroddy
