15+ Years and 147,000 miles ... finally had to say my goodbyes.

- tranny has a filter built into the pan, but usually it enough to just change the fliud. you have to use the honda brand fluid with a maintenance schedule.yurimon

- tranny fluid basically never needs to be changed, atf and oil are very different topics. plenty an d car has shit the bed after some douche at jiffy lube upsellterry_cloth

- you should check if they put honda fluid. honda is strict on their tran formula. there is somewhat of an equivalent but its really not recommended.yurimon

- i dont know terry, id say true for american cars and few exceptions but alot of 300k honda users do recommended fluid changes by the book.yurimon

- under no circumstances honda recommends the full machine flush. they say it is harmful. only drain and change the fluid. changes the fluid, mixes whats in theyurimon
