- blows my mind how a vast majority of windows users don't realize they can make folders and use actual "windows" in windowsmonospaced
- in this office of 4,000 people carrying around Intel laptops, I'd say 95% have desktops that are covered in shortcuts and random files, just like this, in W10monospaced
- Considering how long people have been regularly usinc pc's, I'm still running into people I have to teach how to create folders; copy and paste, etcsection_014
- Most people are filthy slobs.CyBrainX
- You could stream porn vid through winamp...pango
- I still can't believe that there's no real simple way to create a window in windows. No key command that I know of either.monospaced
- You mean to open an explorer?pango
- haha, sure, if that's what they call windows in Windows... fuckin amonospaced
- not to be confused with Internet Explorermonospaced
- ctrl-W ;)
also click this link: http://www.qbn.com/l…sarahfailin - haha, so the command for creating a new window in Windows is the same one that closes a window on OS X, who first used windowsmonospaced

- I fell for both... I feel so ashamed...pango
- To be accurate. They don't call window in mac as window as well. They call it "finder"pango
- And explorer actually works as internet explorer when you enter url into the path bar...pango
- Btw. Is there a really quick way to copy folder path in finder? I've been trying to find that for a while... That's one thing in Windows I prefer over mac...pango
- i still use that winamp with the classic skin on win10deathboy
- oh shit finally someone$% I also use winamp with the oldschool skin :D and only because of 2 plugins :))sted
- pango, on a Mac, in the Finder, they're called windows and have been for over thirty yearsmonospaced
- pango, get info on a file (command-i) and copy the path in the "where" sectionmonospaced
- Ya.... Anything faster than that?pango
- Select on path bar and copy compare to select on folder, cmd+i, select path copy, close info window...pango
- You can show path on the bottom of finder but it doesn't let you just copy from it... Or input... There's gotta be a easier way.... :(pango
- personally, I don't see the point of it... can't even imagine a single instance where someone would need a file path on my computermonospaced
- Many instances when during the save as and or open dialogue. You have to go through so many folders to get to the folder you want....pango
- Also We work with tons of folders and files on the network. It would save so many clicks to just copy and paste path...pango
- well, good thing Finder remembers the most recent folders you've used and has them ready for you, and also a real-time searchmonospaced
- Ugggh..... :(pango
- I use winamp playeri_was
- :( the real time search will take forever to index the network.... 20TB i think?pango
- only once, and it probably already has, long ago, without you knowing itmonospaced
- that's how it's real-timemonospaced
