Glad everyone set the expectations so low...I actually think I got my $10 of entertainment out of it.
How can any half talented kid not think the plot was pathetic? Ghostbuster's swirling mass of destruction was laughable. How can someone actually get paid to write that crap?! Reminds me of an ugly real estate development - if you put it in a good location it'll still make money, regardless of how bad it sucks.
Seems like you could make an interesting movie with a few of the characters (Quinn/Joker - still not sure if mind the performance, we only saw ridiculous scenes, none of the slow paced contemplative stuff that gave Dark Knight a great show, etc.).
Shows - I think Daredevil is nicely showing us that these comic books should be multiple shows, time to develop characters, etc. Then again, we had Guardians of the Galaxy that was some good storytelling and character development with not-so-easy characters, all in one movie.
God I hope they don't screw up the Dark Tower!
