so last week i told the boss we need a one on one meeting to discuss more tasks for me. he was in vegas monday and tuesday (last week), suppose to be in the office wednesday(last week) to have a meeting... so i sat around monday and tuesday (16hrs/2shifts) expected to see him wednesday and he didnt bother coming in.. thursday (aug 4th) i took off along with friday for my bday.. so i got a 4 day weekend.. come in on monday and there is no boss and no work... sat around monday for a 8 hour shift... come in this morning and ask, so where is the boss? "oh he took off one week for his sons bday"...
so that means this week i will be most likely sitting around just like last week.. while my friends (not coworkers) say sit and collect!... i cannot sit at this fucking desk for 8 hours a day with no work. i feel like im not only wasting my skills but im not growing...
so im applying for new jobs, that takes up maybe 2-3 hours of a 8 hour shift..so im left with 5 hours a day doing nothing (while getting paid)...
wtf do i tell this boss? i mean he has to know i have concerns about not having work but more importantly hes paying my salary to sit around?
- Just ask if there are any projects for you when you have extra time during the day. orask moldy for a good taco recipe you can practice making for your company.yurimon
