  My wife tried to convince me that the odd taste in a single bite of a muffin I had this morning wasn't mold, when it was most definitely mold. She suggested that it tasted bad because it was "a healthy muffin, and they're not supposed to taste good."

  Meanwhile, the plastic container of them from the store was full of moisture, and yeah, it was definitely mold.
