    There's making a lot of money... then there is making a SHIT TON of money. They are making a lot. But none of these films are classics, or getting repeat viewings. Comic movies are NOT a sure fire thing. DC/WB are skating on thin ice... just look what happened to marvel's Fantastic Four...

    • The Fantastic Four franchise is licensed out to Sony(?), who have to use the IP otherwise they lose it. They could give a shit about profitability.noneck
    • Sony had/has Spider-Man, Fox has FF. The latest reboot was, as you said, purely to keep the IP. As revenge, Marvel killed the comic.face_melter
