    The US election looks uncannily like the UK referendum. Fact-free fear mongering and almost complete lack of sensible debate. I think the result will be the same (anti-status-quo protest votes returning a narrow Trump win).

    The Democrats are sleep-walking into this scenario in the same way that Labour / the left have dawdled into their current meltdown in the UK.
