when you turn off chat in your advanced chat settings. messages from friends go to your inbox for you to read later.
you'll then get an alert in your facebook, indicating that a new message has arrived.
- but he has to check the email settings first to make sure that fbook sends emails about the messages...:)sted
- the shitty part of this is that it will only send messages if you haven't logged in for a certain timested
- fb confuses you by scattering settings on how others can contact, lookup, posts, email, chat, request, notification, when they should put it all in one place.omg
