All these racial and political arguments aside, can you imagine what would happen if things ever really got bad in America?

In most first world countries if there was a long-term crisis/ breakdown of society, you'd have maybe looting, riots etc. In America, every unstable individual who ran out of meds or EBT card (and there are a lot of them) will be out there with a gun recreating the plot of a shitty Uwe Boll action movie.

I'm not saying ban guns, I think it's futile at this point but people are kidding themselves if they think this makes them safer. In the long run, it's a powder keg waiting for a match to be lit.

    • Not all events happen as expected. The division is instigated. IF people want sanity, they will need to work on themselves and avoid #trigger reporting.yurimon
    • self sustaining in terms of less reliability from on the system itself. preparation.yurimon
    • this is the point of having guns, actuallymonospaced
    • It's kind of self perpetuating thing, if everyone else is armed to the teeth then maybe you also need a gun to defend yourself.yuekit
    • So on an individual level it makes sense. On a society wide level it's pretty clearly a net negative in terms of safety.yuekit
    • Its a community effort for prepping, there is a positive aspect if people embrace relationships. there is a stereo type of a loner person. no person alone canyurimon
    • survive by themselves in worst case scenariosyurimon
