    Checked out the first two....
I have serious reservations about the film making side of this.

The comic is a power house and on some level a master piece, every frame space is perfectly used and had a variety of shots... wide, medium and close ups -- this show had one fixed lens and the blocking and staging was boring as shit. Even on great set ups (corn cob in mouth, chainshaw bit) - dull.

The introduction to Arse face in the comic was so so memorable but in the show was uneventful almost a throw away.

The cast seemed a sleep but I know they can act so it feels they are being held back and the comedy timing is really off. I was excited with the idea of Jospeh Gilgun as he has great timing and energy but he was so under used.

Another really really annoying thing was the poor casting of Tulip. It felt it was to tick the political correct box. I don't give a shit if they cast someone different the original character just make sure they can act!

As with all the Hellblaziers film/tv show they have lost the cultural imprint from the comics....

rant at an end - glad they are making the show, just hope it gets better and the DP/director realise they can change a lens...

    God I'm a nerd!
