recumbent vs upright bike

    I've had both.

    Upright for sure. Same as what they use in spinning class. Yes, your nuts will hurt but if you're looking to sweat or do interval training, you can stand up and push yourself to the max (easily) on an upright.

    Recumbent if you like sitting down while exercising, and like eating Cheetos at the same time. You can't really go all out on a recumbent (at least it doesn't feel the same because you're not supporting your body weight in some respect). However, if you're injured a recumbent is great (what I originally bought mine for)
