    I think this would be Clinton's smartest choice as VP (which is why she might not make it knowing Clinton:).

    Bring the Sanders voters back in the fold and maximize turnout among women. Women already make up a majority of the voting electorate so all you need to do is win the women's vote by the same margin that Republicans win men.
