He was picking up Thai food for his friend. Said he was more of a steak and potatoes kind of guy. He casually mentioned that he better get used to it. He’s getting married to a woman coming from China. He lost his first wife to breast cancer and after her passing he was diagnosed with the same type - said it was because of the sympathy that he had for her. He is now clear of the cancer. He told us this while we were waiting for our order - we had never met the man before, yet he shared such an intimate part of his life with us. I then asked if I could take his photograph and share his story. He said yes.
