Are mean bosses more respected then good bosses? i made observations that some peeps respond better to those who create a stern atmosphere as apposed to those that are cool. seems that the mean squeezers have an upper hand. am i wrong?

- mean bosses are mean because they have an insecure desire to be everyones friend, ergo, the only way for them to manage anyone is to create a hostile air like mterry_cloth

- yeah, but ive seen a nice person boss lose productivity in contrast to a more stern boss. i dont mean psycho crazy but the stern bit does create bit moreyurimon

- at my last job i had a boss like that. i didn't quit because of her at all but it certainly felt good smugly putting in my two weeks and moving to greener pastuterry_cloth
