Look around you, understand why someone is the "best" in your field (and any field). Learn what make them the "best", find a "best" that inspires you, over and over, never stop looking, they are always out there, always someone much better than you are.
Then, most importantly, understand what makes them the "best", pull it apart and truly try to get inside a process and thinking. Never stop learning. The minute you stop getting inspired is the minute you should find another profession.
