usually I don't share my shit here but people like barkyvondouche made me angry

    just finished rendering this piece
12m(40ft) x 4m(13ft) 180dpi 4C, as part of a 300m complete composition printed on vinyl for an entertainment park, rendered in 3dsmax with vray (i will start the postprod next week)

    • I admire this kind of shit, since I assumed I'll never be able to render nothing but a png, I take my hat off to you 3D freaks... Looks like a pic ffsmaquito
    • here is an other part of the composition after postprod: https://i.imgur.com/…sted
    • FYI, this and "handshake of the day" are my fave threads. Keep on bringin your shit, and FUCK politics!maquito

    • colour is kind of odd. what gives?pango
    • Exponential color mapping washes out the colors, maybe that's what you see. I to keep black and white points balancedsted
    • +have to:) and it's also helps to get a closer result to the print on screen.sted
    • ya possibly when you took the screen shot the colour wasn't converted properly.pango
    • hope we get to see the proper colour soon. :)pango
    • Real cool man. I get uptight when my renders take more than an hour - I recently hacked a model to bits which took the render time from 1hr down to 7 minutes!face_melter
    • thanks, I use my mighty desktop pc to render the stuff so in the meantime I can work in ps on my notebook. but I'm quite patient :) sometimes toosted
    • Yeah, having a render machine is great. My office has one but it is always clogged with people doing renders in Maxwell. To get round it in C4D i drop a core...face_melter
    • ...which allows me to render in Vray and work in Photoshop at the same time. Renders are slower, but i make up the time elsewhere.face_melter
    • Noice! Please share the final image after post – maybe scaled down though ;)BaskerviIle
    • Love it. It reminds me of a Maxfield Parrish landscape. https://upload.wikim…CyBrainX
