To avoid another tedious trip to the doctors, this evening I took out some stitches from a wound on my hip. Funnily enough this turned out to be not quite as fun as one might imagine. The first two were pretty easy but the third one, the skin/scabbing had grown completely over it. I had to get a friend to cut into it to fish it out enough to get the scissors underneath. Not the most fun I've had today.
Unfortunately the reason for it is extremely un-rock and roll. Apparently the glands in the skin that secret oil can sometimes get blocked and it builds up over time. What they took out looked like a 1x1" Krang. It's common in people of Celtic heritage, so the doctor tells me.
