as a kid, i used to spend the odd summer in Lloret de Mar...part of the Costa Brava...

for a young kid from Peterborough Ontario, it was an incredible experience to be there...the beaches are incredible..the food was fantastic...
my grandparents had a nice house up in the hills on a street called carrer salvador dali.... https://www.google.ca/maps/@41.7…
and we'd walk all the way from there down to the town...go to the beach, etc....
pretty great way to spend the summer....Highly recommend the area....
I haven't been back as an adult, but my wife and kids and I were in the french riviera a year ago for a few weeks,...i'd guess about a few hundred k away....and it brought back a lot of memories....
