    • so we agree :) I've heard a lot of stories from someone who was around during the recording of sign o the times, Prince basically had a bunch of instruments setspl33nidoru
    • up around him, would ask for that bass, record a take with it, would give it back and ask for that keyboard, record a take with it, and so on..spl33nidoru
    • and i don't mean like it usually happens in any studio, i mean building the whole song instrument after instrument, back to back, with hardly any pausespl33nidoru
