the story of America, told from history books somewhere in the future, will be that it went from people wanting freedom to people wanting free stuff. it went from a land of enlightenment to one of entitlement. a land where the average man valued intellect and had home libraries, to a land where average men craved sports and porn and had a mancave. where hard-working, freedom-thirsty immigrants could come here legally and make something for themselves and their next generation of children, to the next generation of children being public-schooled, selfie-taking, entitled little brats with totally oxy-moronic views of immigration policy and what their immigrant ancestors valued. but its really no wonder, given we are mostly being educated by state-sponsored schools, which by default give us a twisted pro-state view of the world that thinks the state should solve our problems. we as a society could solve today's problems very fast: make the tax rate across individuals and business 0%, remove all federal government agencies and entitlements (including schools) and put back into free market, open the fucking borders and flood the immigrants back in who thirst freedom and opportunity. let's teach america again what this place was founded on. with that said, you guys have fun 'fixing' the state
