I also think the xbox will be even more obsolete soon. The main selling point of consoles are cheap price and exclusives.

Processing power will get even cheaper, most Computers will be able to run any game in Xbox one quality, MS decided to bring most of their 'exclusives' to PC, so why buy this thing anymore? Even a surface pro handles most games already better than the One.

    • Agreed. Since I've starting using Steam, my desire for a new console vanished. My old 360 is basically a Netflix device now.section_014
    • It looks like MS wants to get their feet again into PC gaming, making 'xbox' more of a gaming brand for games and controllers than the actual console device.mekk

    • I built a WOPR and still only play games on PS4. Outwith art sod titles like Superhot I have no desire to play PC games. My PC is for work only.face_melter

    • Consoles will be around for along time yet - walk into a store with 400 bones, walk out with a box and games. Although MS have blown it and are trying to escapeface_melter
    • $400 for playing games in 2010 quality, paying online fees and having just one input device. Games cost 30% more and you cant repair or even clean the thing.mekk
    • mekk i'd say you're out of touch a little, or maybe are younger than most of us? I don't know a single person who sits at a PC and plays computer games.inteliboy
    • @inteliboy, hate to say, but PC gaming is still a massive industrymonospaced
