I've had Tidal for a few months now. It came free with my mobile subscription.

It's roughly the same music collection as Spotify. Although Spotify has a bit more obscure stuff.

Tidals discovery function is pretty horrible, compared to Spotify. And i never thought i would miss the social media aspect. But i find myself missing looking at my friends music collection.

But all in all, i'm pretty pleased with it. Tidals library is being expanded all the time, even with old stuff. Tidal is still new. I guess they needed time to get going properly.

These days, i find that the differences between Spotify, Tidal, Rdio and Deezer (i've used them all) are pretty minescule. Spotify does win by a few hairs, though. It's been around longer, and it shows.

    • Am i on the payroll at Spotify, you mean? No. Just MHO on Tidal :)jagara
    • i meant for tidal, seems like a very substandard product in comparison to metrue_cut
    • Did'nt i just say i preferred Spotify? I wouldn't call it substandard, though...jagara
    • Isn’t their whole platform that they are streaming high quality? Spotify quality is still pretty shit even after years.monospaced
