Apps are not going to take over the web.
As the capabilities of browsers advance they will be able to incorporate many of the features that native apps allow.
The web is a free and open place.
Apps are closed off ecosystems reliant on a certain device / operating system in order to function.
If history has taught us anything over the past 20+ years of the web, is that open languages and technologies are the ones that are going to stick around.
