Nasty Nas circa 91/92 - 'Nas Will Prevail' cassette demo for It Ain't Hard to Tell
I've had an 89tek9 rip of this for years, with Stretch talking over it... and I gotta say I like this dodgy 'n raw version better than the LP version.
Maybe it just always represented that New York sound I have been drawn to since i bought my first 12's in 88ish, and it's kinda magical at the same time thanks to a west coast MJ haha.
I have contemplated re-creating the instrumental of this to have a proper quality 'studio' version - not sure if anyone has had the same idea...
