Looking for some tips / info on the following:
I have several music apps on my iPad (Animoog, Xynthesizer, Arturia iMini, and a few other things). I know how to record these to Logic just using a cable out of the headphone jack and into the computer.
Some of these apps can control MIDI in Logic, so I'm assuming the apps function as controllers, using sounds in Logic. Is that correct? I've never done that sort of thing before.
Anyone here currently use an iPad that way? I'm really confused on how to get my iPad functioning this way. I know it uses the USB out, but don't you need to use the camera kit USB plug to do this?
- you need a dedicated MIDI interface for your iPad. you may enjoy using it like this... http://beatsurfing.n…imbecile
- If you want to use the IPad as a MIDI controller, you can set the app you are using as a controller to output MIDI via WIFI or Bluetooth. (if app supports it).keewee
