I've started a new tradition: I go see a nominated movie on Oscar night. Went to see Whiplash last year on Oscar night and the theatre was almost completely empty. No one in the lobby, even! Everyone who likes movies is at home following the Oscars.
- lol my friend who has a degree in music says that the music knowledge in that movie is poorly portrayed. fun to watch none the less.pango
- Yeah, but what movie portrays any field particularly well? If you watch any movie based around something you know about, you'll find it's flaws.nb
- Also, the plot in Whiplash is total crap. It starts out well, but the end doesn't make any sense. But, gotta watch something!nb
