Been at this company for almost 11 months without issue.
Late last week 2 of my direct reports, one who sits next to me, and another who sit kitty-corner, pulled me aside to talk about the coworker who sits directly across from me.
Nice lady whom I've never had issue with. They complain she always hums the same 2 notes, is always on her phone, talks to and mumbles to herself constantly throughout the day, fidgets, spills at least one soda per day... the list went on. I told them we're all adults and to get over it (in nicer terms).
2 weeks later I'm about to jump out the fucking window, not before tearing my hair out at the roots. Since they brought it up it's all I can hear and focus on while at work. Before it was maybe white noise, now it's a fog horn in my ear 9-5.
Noise canceling headphones here I come.
