The problem is people are stupid and 2 out of 3 americans are ready to spit you in the face only for being one (muslim)
Not fair? Reality slapIts surprising that a small group of people takes a dump in your frontyard and happy denounces "we're with him", and you (as a muslim) take no offence
Similarly to the situation with modern communists, who should be the first to dissociate themselves from their troubled past, the "good" muslims are the ones who are ought to denounce ISIS -- actively and louder than everyone else
If you don't, the problem lies not in terrorism, but in religion, because it deprives people of brains and conscience. And people without brains and conscience are due to their numbers equalliy socially dangerous
