    Tomb Raider Definitive Edition

It's a bit old but I just picked this up on a whim for the ps4 and I'm actually quite enjoying it. There's not a steep learning curve like some games these days so you can pretty much start playing and enjoy it. The controls are very intuitive (except combat sometimes) which I think has always been this franchise's strong point. And the game just looks good in hi-def. Only issue was the timed button press events which I've never been a fan of but the game doesn't penalize you much for getting them wrong. Played it for a solid couple hours last night which doesn't happen much for me with games these days.

    • Playing it as well, has a similiar mechanic to batman origin/asylum.

Those quick time events coupled with the mostly obtrusive screen effects are so lame

    • Have you figured out why sometimes it auto-aims but sometimes it doesn't? especially with hunting.SteveJobs
    • HA it theoretically should also auto aim on your opponent if you successfully dodge too. Those shield guys are a pia.dorkKn1ght
    • Finally finished it. The gameplay mechanics are spot-on, but the story was a little cliche and the adventure became monotonous midway though. I give it a B+SteveJobs
    • Will get the new one coming out soon later down the road though for sure.SteveJobs
    • Hellya, It's got a Indiana Jones vibe to it. Can't wait to finish this game and move onto the sequel.dorkKn1ght
