    i like a sweet, sparkling cider but it's tricky to make. easiest is a dry cider that's super potent and tastes like vodka basically.

    anyone else ever brew this stuff?

    • Yep. Parents had an apple orchard. We pressed, we brewed, we drank, we fell over. Awesome days.Morning_star

    • Theres a real art to it. We probably made around 50 gallons per season. We,d harvest the apples about September. The first batch would be ready about now.Morning_star
    • We'd enter it into a big local country show. It was not too strong (5-8%), dry and fruity. Our apples gave it quite a crisp taste. There was a cider brewery...Morning_star
