Gilgamush, how is it not true that because of YOUR views, and the pro-gun people that YOU elect, that guns are everywhere and easily accessible... thus leading to the deaths of innocent people, through crime or accidents.... ? How is it not true?

You didn't pull the trigger. But your ideas play a role in every shooting. Your views. The people you elect. The lax rules regarding guns. The fact that guns are so incredibly prevalent in people's households. The accidental and tragic deaths that happen in those households.

How do you not see the indirect blood on your hands?

Go ahead. Put your fingers in your ears. Mumble something about freedom.

    • This makes no sense like the idea of original sin. Id have indirect blood on my hands for going along with booze/driving/living... i'll say nodeathboy
    • People who drink booze do so by choice. And it's against the law to do it while driving. There are laws and measures to prevent it as much as possible.iCanHazQBN
    • you have some issues broh. I agree with deathboy.yurimon
    • Yes, I'm the one with issues. Right. I'm the one who actually want's to do something about 51,740 people dying in 2014 from gun deaths.iCanHazQBN
    • dude you contribute money to the war effort without blinking an eye. and we all know war moneys is used to buy freedom for all those brown people.yurimon
    • While the other side says things like "we need more guns". Yeah dude, I'm the one with issues. Yup.iCanHazQBN
    • What on Earth do you know about my views on the current US wars???? LOL. I love how you just pulled that out of nowhere...iCanHazQBN
    • ...Simply assuming that because I care about gun issues then it means I must not care about the wars we wage.iCanHazQBN
    • You guys do nothing but divert the topic, over and over again.iCanHazQBN
    • If you had cared to ask... I'm vehemently against the current wars ("wars for contractor profits" I call them). You think I want my tax money for this??iCanHazQBN
    • well you claim whats his name is contributor while you are a contributor to death and destruction. but i suspect you have some deeper fears going on.yurimon
    • I pay my taxes. Unfortunately I'm not in control of precisely how they're used. However, I try to elect people that make decisions againstiCanHazQBN
    • things like war.iCanHazQBN
    • you are a troll, and now i know who's proxy account you are. for once in your self hating little life be a man 'icanhaz' and stop playing your little gamesgilgamush
    • unfortunately somethings can be written off as virtuous or non hypocritical put under the psychological rug conveniently.yurimon
    • proxy account?monospaced
    • When Gilgamush has nothing to defend himself with he just starts calling people trolls. Just because someone disagrees with you, doesn't mean they're trolls.iCanHazQBN
    • The cyber police is on to you.isleptwithsirenstonight
    • And he doesn't think I'm American. He just can't fathom how an American could be anti-gun. He just can't wrap his head around that idea.iCanHazQBN
    • but you are indeed just a troll, and because i hurt your feelings once by pointing out what a dickless sissy you are, now you are on a mission to say the most rgilgamush
    • repulsive shit possible to me as your passive agresive little revengegilgamush
    • And now I'm threatened with proxy talk and cyber police nonsense. What is this, 4chan? Yeah, I'm the child here... sure buddy...iCanHazQBN
    • well guess what 'icanhaz', it just reaffirms what a dickless sissy you aregilgamush
    • I don't really register personal insults, especially online. So I don't recollect when you called me a "dickless sissy". I instinctively ignore those parts.iCanHazQBN
    • ..of a post.iCanHazQBN
    • lol monospaced, where have you been hiding, so funny to see you here isn't it. what a coincidencegilgamush
    • iCanHazQBN isn't a troll. LOL.monospaced
    • Maybe the sissy is the one who feels so afraid that he needs a gun? Something to think about.iCanHazQBN
    • so tell me, how does it work, do you log out of one and then into the other or do you just have them open in different tabs, trolling simultaneouslygilgamush
    • icanhaz doesnt see his moral dilemma he is in. he hates gun but supports war even though he doesnt support war.yurimon
    • I financially support war, though it's not my choice to. Don't play dumb. At the moment we don't have control over how most tax $$$ is spent. Nice spin though.iCanHazQBN
    • ...While you guys will actually VOTE-IN people who are pro-gun.iCanHazQBN
    • You're trying to compare the two dilemmas, but the intents are completely opposite. I try to vote-in anti-war people, while you vote in pro-gun people.iCanHazQBN
    • it's amusing to hear you talk about playing dumb, seeing as how that is your favorite game. so why use the fake account anyways. proxy wasn't the right wordgilgamush
    • This isn't a fake account. It's my real and main account.iCanHazQBN
    • I had an account in the mid 2000's linked to my previous professional workplace. But that is long gone.iCanHazQBN
    • What do you want from me? My real name and address?? LOL. Why are you calling this a "fake" account?? It's as real as yours. I've been around since 2008.iCanHazQBN
    • its not a spin its a moral reality we are in. its a contradiction but a real one. you are against something that kills people yet a contributor.yurimon
    • But there you go again, diverting off topic. Now you're trying some weird personal "I know who you are" game, instead of sticking to the discussion.iCanHazQBN
    • Uh, but yuri, I have no control over how that contribution is made. If I did, I wouldn't make that contribution. You're spinning it.iCanHazQBN
    • You're spinning it by saying: "Because you pay taxes, you must be FOR war". That's just stupid. Come on bro. You know how stupid that sounds.iCanHazQBN
    • I do everything in my power to PREVENT war-mongering politicians to getting elected into office, by voting for ones who aren't so pro-war.iCanHazQBN
    • While you will actually vote for FOR politicians who ARE pro-gun.iCanHazQBN
    • no dude thats not how morality works. would give a person $ if you know they will go buy weapons.yurimon
    • troll b gonegilgamush
    • I pay my taxes. Some of it is used for good, some of it is used for bad. The point is, I'm trying to put people in office that use tax money more responsibly...iCanHazQBN
    • ... instead of just giving up and saying "I'm not paying my taxes at all" and then ending up in jail.iCanHazQBN
    • good luck with that pipe dream. you still miss the point of moral action in the now. you know that something immoral is happening and you consciously support ityurimon
    • the excuses yeah but im trying to put someone in office, sidetracks the point. you are a heavy avoider i see cant face the truth.yurimon
    • It doesn't sidetrack the point. It's a solution. We can't cut off all the benefits that tax money provides this country (health, education) because of this...iCanHazQBN
    • What we should do is elect people who aren't militaristic-minded and who DON'T want to spend tax money on wars.iCanHazQBN
    • What you're proposing is stomping on the ENTIRE tax system (which hurts education & healthcare), instead of extracting the negatives things (war) that use it.iCanHazQBN
    • So because our government is using some tax money for war, you want to hurt the country's education and health as well??iCanHazQBN
    • i guess you dont care about peoples lives then. just hot political issues from the safety of your home, or office. you know morality doesnt work that way right?yurimon
    • You're drawing conclusions from your head instead of what I said. Whatever makes you better.iCanHazQBN
    • i guess you are the moral authority of deciding who lives or dies. whats a life worth? its not like you have to go and do the actual work..yurimon
    • Just because my house is safe, doesn't mean I don't care about people's lives. It's amazing how you draw your conclusions.iCanHazQBN
    • you are an actual participant in a process of violence while opposing it. i can admit im a hypocrite for it and try to remedy it from there. we are all.yurimon
    • What specific work are you suggesting I do? I cast my votes for what I believe is right. I protest against things which I believe are wrong.iCanHazQBN
    • Do you want me to fly to Iraq and breath life into a dying civilian? What sort of "work" are you implying??iCanHazQBN
    • not only you are a participant but you have knowledge of what you are doing. its hard fact. this the reality everyone brushes under the rug.yurimon
    • the point im trying to say is that is more of political issue. a hot potato of sorts. the tunnel vision. its important that we deal with the core issue of moralyurimon
    • Huh?? But it's not something we brush under the rug. Lots of people are trying to get anti-war, peace-minded people as our leaders.iCanHazQBN
    • Why do you assume that everyone is unconscious to this? Every time I fill up my tank in my car I literally think "Where the hell did this oil come from and howiCanHazQBN
    • many people in the middle east had to die because of it?"iCanHazQBN
    • The dilemma of so much tax money for war is something we know about and are trying to change.iCanHazQBN
    • .. while the pro-gun people are saying things like "we need MORE guns". It's completely opposite.iCanHazQBN
    • That would be like me saying "I know my tax money is going for war, and I'm perfectly OK with that, so here take some more money."iCanHazQBN
    • ... But I'm not saying that! How can I explain this any clearer?iCanHazQBN
    • i dont know anyone saying it and im not pro gun. im pro rights. everyone could have changed it but didnt. you dont see the delusion of moral action yet?yurimon
    • "honey i cheated but she means nothing to me" accuses all lead to the issue of personal responsibility and power.yurimon
    • everything you suggesting absolves you of this power and responsibility. how do you face being not completely moral in the face of massaging political topicsyurimon
    • i'm not trying to single you out but this is just a classic example.yurimon
    • Pro rights? Why when gays want to get married you say "the gov't can't give you rights".....iCanHazQBN
    • But when it comes to guns you're all about having rights??iCanHazQBN
    • People should have to right to go to school and the movies and mall without fear of getting shot... as long as we're talking about rights.iCanHazQBN
    • because rights dont come from gov. thats why. you can go anywhere you want. the fear is something within your reality.yurimon
    • anyway, how are you going to deal with your moral dilemma and hypocrisy is what i want to know.yurimon
    • If rights don't come from the government, then why do you cling like mad to the right to bear arms?? That right was created by a government.iCanHazQBN
    • rights can be taken away or legal terms trespassed on, stolen. look it up.yurimon
    • lets get back to your responsibility here. how are you handling it?yurimon
    • Handling what?iCanHazQBN
    • You didn't answer why you get the right to bear arms, but you don't feel gays should have equal rights to get married.iCanHazQBN
    • You just mumbled something about "rights can be taken away". Well, no shit.iCanHazQBN
    • Only yurimon gets to have his rights! Anybody else wants rights? Fuck them!iCanHazQBN
    • the problem with you icanhaz is that you are too busy emoting, thinking about what 'should' happen in stead of thinking about the hows and whys of the issuegilgamush
    • we 'should' have a society where guns aren't necessary but we do, so instead of fixating on the injustice of it all and shouting over and over again how unfairgilgamush
    • it is, why don't you join the discussion on how we can make the u.s. safer, so that people wont need fire arms to protect themselvesgilgamush
    • Guns are necessary because other people have guns. It's a stupid cycle that's created by fear. You get rid of the gun.iCanHazQBN
    • Want to make the U.S. safer? Get rid of guns. It's proven all over the world it works.iCanHazQBN
    • Unless you want metal detectors in every school and movie theater and shopping mall and park and sporting venue and bus and train and... etc.iCanHazQBN
    • you are such a tiresome troll. almost like a child who deos not get his way. listen real closely kiddo, the answer is nnnnoooooooo. it isn't going to happen, stgilgamush
    • stop fantasizing all day and pose a real suggestion or shut your stupid ass upgilgamush
    • do you really think telling people to shut up would ever work? has it ever? you don't seem like a smart one :/pango
    • I think its pretty clear that ican is overly afraid, where fear has taken over the one cell of rationality he ever had in his body.yurimon
    • And i think you haven't gone to the toilet for months. you're brain in buried in shit.pango
    • I have yet to see you say any thing of value pango, worry about yourself for a changegilgamush
