    Just passed a white collar 30 something sitting on the concrete on a busy city street, up against a high rise looking as though he was in some serious despair. Wanted to reach out and ask if he was OK. I did not (mostly because of some past experience stuff).

    Watched people pass him with 0 concern.
    He fit into the typical uniform of this part of town. Crisp white shirt, gray slacks, tie- boring ;) but well dressed... he may've made it into the QBN fashion thread tho.

    A friend, last week this time actually said -- "People aren't compassionate or kind anymore",

    I actually disagree; like attracts like, we see what we want to see. I see acts of kindness everywhere.

    I received one of these nychighfive.org last week.

    I just wondered how folks who looked exactly like him, could just march on by...
