Might just be some kid looking at your code.
I remember getting an email from someone back in early /pre- NT days because I'd done exactly that - downloaded someone's code and put it on a server I had access to, so I could pull it apart and try and figure out how it worked.
I was too naive to realise it had stats code in it and was reporting from a weird place.
After a polite email I explained my stupidity and took out the offending tracking code and thanked him for his work and his understanding...
