We do our best to bridge the gap between the rational and the metaphysical, the unexplained. It is one of mankind's motivations for meaning. If we close our eyes and enter the world of darkness, everything becomes an atomic reaction. Our atoms responding and reacting to the atoms around us and vice versa. Touch, sound. Introducing light just adds another level which our eyes are attuned to...but what if there is something missing...something that we cannot read as humans... a dimension similar to light but that is out of our comprehension? What if we are blind to so much more? What if we didn't have the properly developed organ to react to this dimension. What if this dimension unites life and death? Our eyes see, our ears hear, our sex gives us pleasure, everything has been created for us to read and respond to the atoms around us. But what if we are shut off to other dimensions by design? Life is amazing.
