i had one recently where i woke up and there was a dark figure standing across the room, i then actually woke up clumsily launching out of bed in fight club mode and blinking my eyes to focus in the dark, confused at what was reality for a few seconds as it had disappeared. actually this has happened a few times and sometimes I will dream wake up and be looking at the wall across from me covered in tarantulas, then actually wake up in a panic for a second... to find the wall tarantula-less.
