My wife and daughter and I just spent a week up in Door County, Wisconsin - a peninsula between Green Bay and Lake Michigan, if you're unfamiliar with that region. Rented a cabin built in 1934 in a little town of about 750, right on the lake with a beautiful view, solitude, and lots of fresh air. Can't wait to go back here in the fall to see the leaves changing; it's about a 5 1/2 hour drive for us with a baby and bathroom stops.

- whitefish boats out there about a mile or two out. I had no idea until going up there.mg33

- Jay - I was indeed. Went for a hike at Peninsula, and had lunch in Sister Bay. We stayed in Jacksonport on the lake side.mg33
