    Mono, re: Memory.

I had no idea that home and pro editions bothered limiting maximum memory. Seems a bit shittily arbitrary.

Anyway, looks like you're all good..

    • Nice, thanks! And yes, the RAM limiting did always feel a bit shittily arbitrary.monospaced
    • its not arbitrary its how bits work. read the graph in the link you posted you'll see the limits have to do with 32-64 bit versions.uuuuuu
    • there is a 128g ram limit on windows Home 64bit. i think pro has more to do with networking than anything.uuuuuu
    • With windows 7 the home edition limited to 16 gb even on 64 bitmonospaced
    • didn't know that. i have win 7 64 pro and never thought about it :Puuuuuu
    • they changed it in 10 though i guessuuuuuu
    • I have 32GB installed on my iMac, and when I went into Windows 7 (bootcamp) it only recognizes 16GB, which tipped me off.monospaced
    • I'm glad that Windows 10 will recognize it all.monospaced
    • cool story, brodoesnotexist
    • My Windows 7 never had a problem recognizing the 32gb, must just be you mono ;-)formed
    • Haha. You had the Pro version I guess.monospaced
    • Pro's still limited versus Enterprise. Not that it matters on the scale we mortals have our memory at.

Surprised Mono doesn't have Pro version though, tssk!

    • Pro version was WAY too expensive. I had to buy the OEM version, and wasn't going to pay $200+ for an OS.monospaced
