Does anyone know if Windows 10 Home will support more than 16GB of RAM? Does Microsoft still expect me to PAY for Pro so I can use all of the hardware I have installed? This is 2015.

    • er, just download the 64 bit version?

      What do you mean?

    • In all previous versions of Windows, only the Pro editions support more than 16GB of RAM, even if you have more installed (I have 32GB).monospaced
    • Because I'm running Windows Home Premium, my upgrade is to Windows 10 Home, not Pro.monospaced
    • Now, I'm trying to figure out why there are two versions of Windows 10 when it's a FREE upgrade. Also, will the Home edition support more than 16GB of RAM?monospaced
    • and detritus is saying that it should only be a matter of if you install the 32 bit or 64 bit version. takes 64 bit to support more RAM.sarahfailin
    • Totally, I get it. I am running a 64-bit version of Windows 7, and it will not utilize more than 16GB or RAM, which is why I asked.monospaced
