I can't say Noory is an 'idiot', fate... I can say he's far too gracious / welcoming to a plethora of silliness (sometimes you just know the guy has got to be muting his mic and screaming at the top of lungs in the studio at how bad his show is on certain nights).
He has a tendency to almost never disagree or get controversial himself— he comes off as a big puppy dog because of this... but I don't think he's an idiot.
Clyde Lewis puts on a pretty good show although he can get a little overly intense and begin to sound like that kid in 6th grade who was slowly slipping into nerdism, unknowingly setting himself up for 6 years of being stuffed in lockers and snubbed by teenage bitches...
You know who I really miss on Coast to coast? John B. Wells... Loved his nights... haven't listened to his show lately - anyone catch him?
