When I was a kid I had super-numerary teeth. There was a third set without roots between my adult teeth and baby teeth Which needed to be removed along with all my baby teeth in order for my adult teeth to grow in correctly. (Yes, insert shark jokes, I've heard it before)
Flash forward to when I had my wisdom teeth removed. My doctor asked "Oh you had super-numerary teeth when you were a child? I ask because you have eight wisdom teeth...Well, this surgery wont be fun for you."
Eight....and yes having them removed did indeed suck!
