If it came down to brass tacks, I would work for Mir:
In terms of outfits who do architectural work theirs is by far the best, in my opinion, in terms of light and technical accomplishment. They place and increased emphsis on the surroundings, light, and location of the project. A lot of the time, the building it self is incidental to the entire scene to create a mood rather than an obvious, eyes-front, physical representation of the development which is mostly the norm for visuals.
I have tried to approach my arch work in the same way but I don't have *that* particular eye it seems. Technically, i'm fine - materials, render, modelling, tricks - all that shit - but my natural inclination is to push things towards being hyper-real. Whereas, oddly enough, my photography is more in line with Mir's approach.
