What size/hardness wheels should I get?

    I skate the following:
    20% Concrete parks
    20% Masonite miniramp
60% Cruising on the streets to parties and shit.

My current wheels are hard and small. It's so loud and bumpy on the streets, I want to be smooth. I'm content to nail my heel flips consistently, I've given up on tying to learn blunt slides and 360-flips. But I don't want a long board or a nostalgia cruiser. I still want to be able to do my heel flips. I want big, soft wheels, right?

So what wheels should I get? I'm looking at maybe Ratbones 60mm 85a or 80a. They look wide.

Anybody use this? Or know of something similar to this? https://www.warehouseskateboards…

    • Maybe Ricta Clouds? http://www.tactics.c…nb
    • Don't know what brands are doing these days but I always liked big, relatively soft wheels with super fast bearings... skated mainly transition and some street.IRNlun6
    • The size will affect the flips a bit but nothing that more speed can't cure.IRNlun6
    • I second the clouds!err
    • Ended up getting some 62mm 78a. MY SKATE IS SO FAST NOW OMG AMAZINGnb
