    Good work leads to more good work, which leads to a better portfolio and eventually being more in demand.

    I've always found that to really get ahead (in design anyway) you can't pump out 'mediocre work' and expect or hope that the 'good work' will just come your way eventually.

    You have to treat every single project as a potential portfolio piece that you can be proud of - no matter how shit the brief may seem at the time - you have to find an idea to make it a great brief.

    Doing this takes passion and energy - and an overwhelming desire to WANT to produce good work, no matter how many late nights it takes to get the job done properly.
