    if you cant empathize with your users, and understand their motivations and their needs, then you lack a solid foundation for the UX direction.

    It's similar to understanding your target audience when working on an ad or brand campaign.

    If you don't truly understand who is using your product, then how can you expect to give them a user flow they will want to go through?

    • But is it "empathy" per se (seems so misconstrued) ? This is what I'm asking. Should they call it something else; Cognitive connection/empathy?bklyndroobeki
