The warehouse community I live in here in North London is being slowly gutted by the council and their fucking fire-safety requirements.
Some of it's clearly necessary and probably overdue... a lot of it is just over the top bullshit application of housing codes meant for small dwellings transplanted on to large environments that function differently.
As a result, my lovely 40m long workspace I share with a few people here is going to have an entirely unnecessary corridor put through it, despite the fact there are exits all along the way and at each end, just to satisfy some rule.
Going to completely transform this place.. for the worse.
