I bought a Sony stereo with bluetooth for playing music from my computer in my office. Every couple of minutes, the music would cut out or click/pop. Just for a split-second.
I returned it, thinking it was defective, but the guy at the store said "Yeah, that's the nature of bluetooth. It cuts out a bit."
Is this true? It seems crazy to me that anyone would put up with that for music.
- I bought a cheap bluetooth speaker for about €20, don't think I've ever heard it cut out like that.ian
- never had that with any BT audio devicefourth
- All the time.pango
- It's true, BT simply fucks up randomly, even if it's going a couple of feet or even inches sometimes. I think there's a new "version" that's better.monospaced
- You need a better BT device. The HK headphones I mentioned a few posts back does not have this issue. The "new version" BT codec is aptX.chow
- Interesting. This was a very recent model stereo, and a Sony, which I thought would be good enough, but maybe I should try something higher-end.nb
