Lead UX at a large company. Responsible for hi/lo fidelity wires, annotated wires, personas, flows, interactive prototypes, A/B + multi variant testing, user testing and visual design for responsive site, adaptive emails and apps for multiple brands.
Regarding the "UX is new" comment - Carnegie Mellon University was one of the first programs in the world to offer a master’s degree in interaction design (IxD). Twenty years ago, the program focused primarily on screen interfaces for computer applications and Websites.
