I have a couple straight razors. Mainly use an old Wade & Butcher straight razor similar to this but with an orange handle...
... bought them here
Been using them for the past 4 years now and haven't had any bad cuts. Cleanest, closest shave possible and minimizes ingrown hairs. Main negative is when I travel I have to bring a normal razor which completely fucks up my face.
- don't put it in the carry on bag?pango
- is there a period of cuts to get used to it or skill to doing it?yurimon
- Takes a bit of time to get used to the surface area of the blade and getting the angles right. It's slow going at first.IRNlun6
- Helps to try and learn to be ambidextrous from the start.IRNlun6
- pango, I only use carry on, and if I did check anything in I still don't trust the TSA dummies.IRNlun6
