    bloody hell, google have really fucked their maps - the ui is so bad - boxes everywhere... all manner of unwanted tat popping up uninvited and no obvious way of stopping it.

    total visual chaos.

    awful.

    compared to the simplicity of openstreetmap ui

    • I disagree, I find it useful, especially when I use to map my public transport, also if you press the marker, the notification disappears...georgesIII
    • Google on the one hand have a singular search box that does what it's supposed — whilst on the other hand, hide functionality and sense in a labyrinthine mess..detritus

      I loved Maps once, but now find it frustrating and illogical.      detritus

    • I tried linking to a streetview, but instead posted to G+, from my business account. Nothing important, but it could've been. Subsequently deleted G+ account.detritus
